The thing is, I find it very unrealistic that you could create a game show experience with that many people and a number of them not get hurt. Especially since some of the games being played were modeled after literal death traps.

Singapore is quite low on crime. However, just looking at caning sort of ignores other aspects of their culture.

It seems to work in Singapore, but then, Singapore is a relatively small island nation with other unique cultures and a host of problems.
