I like it partially because, like James Cameron's Titanic, even the fake stuff provides an excellent point of discussion. You can tell a lot of care was put into these divergences from reality.

I always get dowvoted when I say this, but I often end up comparing it to Star War The Clone Wars's Siege of Mandalore arc. The fuckinh stress and tense waiting in both, even though Chernobyl is obviously worse because it is based in a real event which actually killed people and ruined lives.

But in both, it's just the fact that you know something bad is happening and each chance you get you want to stop it. You want things to be different and they won't be.

It is the most suspenseful and tense, definitely. Followed closely by The Clone Wars's Seige of Mandalore Arc and then the second to last episode of Midnight Mass.

I want you to find three reputable studies or facts which prove or at least suggest that there is reasonably outrageous forms of racism within Florida policing.

The police are racist. There is no denying this. Putting generic African designs on their cars not only does nothing to change their policies, but it just highlights how they only pay lip service to diversity.

They woukd have spent thousands on this. They could have spent that one literally anything else.

So what is the policy change? Where is it?

It is window dressing without fixing anything. And given hownlottle the police want to change in general, it is mocking actual diversity and black people.

The gender reveal party at my work involved delicious cupcakes. Really, the best cupcakes I ever had. The cream in the center was fluffy and thick without being too heavy.

Everyone should just do those and we would all be happier.
