As a gay man I have a question for you. Do you mean we should be looking for common ground with people who want to deny my family rights? That I should try to find the “goodness” in people who would rather I didn’t exist? At the end of the day, we all have to take a stand. Of my neighbor flies a Trump flag, they are telling me they either are, or support, a bigot. I have no intention of validating their beliefs.

There is also the Williamstown Gulf. It has to do with the ancient lake beds that covered Vermont in the past. Lake Champlain was actually a sea, and I believe the gulfs were formed when ice dams broke and sent water towards the Connecticut River. That’s my general understanding but others may be able to provide more detail.

As others have said, read the easement language. If it is not specifically stated that signs are allowed, then it is not legal. Depending on the type of easement, there may be specific clauses for allowable and prohibited activities. If it’s only for access, then signs not placed by the property owner are not legal.
