I'm happy with Heritage also, and I keep half of my money with them. Looks like I'll have to shop around for another option to replace the former VSECU.

Looks like NEFCU has dispatched their down-voting trolls.

Well we are screwed now that this acquisition (let's call it what it was) has been approved. Seriously thinking about moving my funds elsewhere.

Here's a history lesson for you. Back when abortion was originally made illegal in a by-gone era in England, the intent was to protect women from dying in an era before sterile conditions and antibiotics. This law which travelled to the new world as part of British common law had zero to do with protecting the life of a fetal collection of cells. The beginning of life at this time in history was defined in a sane and rational way as "when a baby is born and brought forth."

I voted for it, but I'm not thrilled with language within the bill that tosses decisions/interpretations back to the courts. A lot of laws throughout history have been struck down, or at least been deemed unenforceable, due to laws being judged "void for vagueness." I would have preferred a bill with very specific language, liberally peppered with these terms: "abortion," "women," "tubal ligation, "vasectomy," and so on. But this is what there was, so I endorsed it with my vote and even had a "pro-article22" bumpersticker made for my car. I hope it will provide the autonomy it promises for women seeking abortion, but we'll see I guess.

Had it once 20 years ago, and, trust me, you don't want it.
