I'm not sure how the systems work in those states, but it seemed to work great when I lived in Denmark and no one had an issue with it, maybe it just needs some adjustment to be more like their system?

It's somewhat like stock fundamentals, washington had very high quality of life and economic strength as a state but public perception undervalued it. Then when people realized how great it was for cost of living everyone started flocking here until prices and crowds ballooned...

Considering the median house prices in many large urban areas in western Washington I'd be suprised if there isn't at least one, million dollar house in that image lol.

Considering most of our autumn color trees aren't even native, idk if I'd call it "so washington", it's basically just the east coast imported lol.

Lol? Those aren't quantitative measurements of standard of living. They are issues sure but overall our violent crime rate for the state is still significantly lower than the national average. Property crime and homelessness have increased in the majority if not all cities that have experienced similar growth and economic prosperity as Seattle. There's no mainstream party in the US that's been shown to effectively addresses the underlying causes of that...
Regardless of the issues that do exist it doesn't change that overall we do quite well compared to many of our peers especially being a smaller state.

Considering Democrats have had control for decades and in that time we've become on of the most economically productive states with a very high standard of living even in more rural areas I don't think they are the problem....

Maybe if the state developed it, it'd be ok but any mining company will just suck up the money and leave asap.
