Voters: I insist that we introduce term limits!
Also voters: how dare my votes result in consequences?!

Speed limit not speed requirement.

I really doubt they will install anything like that, but that's the way to stop drivers for real. We all know paint on the road or signs on posts do absolutely nothing to slow down a determined asshole.

If they're serious they could put a physical roadblock halfway down the street. So residents can get in and out either end, but you have to exit the same side you enter.

The city government itself owns roughly 10% of the vacants. The rest are privately owned, but behind all the various LLCs are a few big money institutions squatting on property for speculative reasons. Institutions with lobbying power. Like Hopkins.

One need only look into who owns the most vacants to discover why the city won't entertain a vacancy tax.

Baltimore Bicycle Works Racing team leads group rides weekly, and they're upfront about what pace each ride is and whether they'll drop or not. Don't have to be a member to ride.

Yeah, I wonder what the future will consider this generation's shag carpet and faux-wood paneling.

It was patented in Baltimore and at the time was considered a cleaner, more modern look than brick. It also protected the brick and provided a measure of insulation and weather resistance. Exposed brick needs semi-regular maintenance. Slap formstone on top and the brick underneath is pretty much good forever.

Dolphin if you count the harbor. Black bear have been seen in Towson. Rare sightings both.

Lmao, no?! Baltimore DOT can have a federal grant paying for 100% of a project placed at their feet with independently repeated and peer reviewed case studies proving it would be a good idea and they still wouldn't do it.
