Reply to comment by Few-Ad-1381 in TIL the term "death row" comes from an assassination attempt on FDR. Reply to comment by enfiel in TIL in the 1920s, Coco Chanel accidentally got a tan, and helped inspire the trend of sunbathing. Soon "sunlight therapy" was prescribed for almost every ailment from fatigue to tuberculosis. Well there's also some sense to it. Vitamin D deficiency is a persistent issue in the UK and Ireland, and isn't conducive to an ideal healthy status.
