Thank you! There is actually a toggle for the window frame if you hit the settings on the bottom right. The idea of towns or little cottages is something I've been thinking about playing with, so that's validating to hear. Glad you enjoyed it!

That exists! It's the settings that you can get to from the button on the bottom right

Thanks for the feedback, it makes sense to me! I just pushed an updated to dial down the shimmer by default and make it customizable.

Hey all! This has become something of a passion project since I shared it about a year ago, and I’ve added a bunch of stuff as I’ve had time, including:
- More polished visuals
- More options (for things like a window frame, mountain zoom level, colors, etc)
- The ability to draw fireworks
- The ability to capture all of your current settings in a URL in case you’re like me and really just love rainy fall days
- PWA support, so you can install it and run it offline like an app
Thanks for the continued feedback and to everyone who uses it!

Reply to [OC] Visualizing Jeopardy Winning Streaks Since The 5-Day Win Cap Was Removed In 2003 by Shriracha
Hello! I got curious and wanted to build a visualization for winning streaks on Jeopardy, since there seem to be so many long ones lately.
I pulled data from J! Archive, wrote a little Python script to parse it, and then put together this visualization using p5.js. The darker the blue is, the longer the streak was.
Note that this only counts "regular season" games, and not special tournaments that Jeopardy has every so often. That's why each some of the seasons are much shorter than others.
Hope you find it as interesting as I did making it!

Huh weird, that would be a bug on my end! One thing I noticed is that if you're on iOS then you might have to check the physical ringer mute switch.

Hello! I shared this several months ago and was really motivated by a lot of the great feedback I got. Since the last post, I've:
- Made some performance upgrades, so there should be less stuttering if you have a pattern with a lot of beats.
- Added the ability to randomize more granularly -- you can set specific octaves to change when the pattern starts, which lets you do things like fix a drum groove and a bassline while a melody is randomly generated.
- Made it so that DrawBeats can play when it isn't the active tab.
- Added more granular options for tempo and swing.
- Added some animations.
- Added a simple recording functionality (non-mobile only atm).
For the holidays, here is a chiptune version of everyone's favorite Christmas song that I threw together. Thanks for checking it out!
