I was sitting on a hill enjoying the scenery. A field of flowers laid below. The village was in the distance, and the castle looked like a speck from here. A man in a blue robe walked up the hill to me. “I have seen your dark magic, sorceress. Now, I will end it!”, he said. “Oh, I’m not a dark mage. I have that color of magic because I like the aesthetic.” He looked surprised. “But, you have a pet dragon…” “Not all dragons are bad. Also, it’s the size of a small dog.” “Oh, sorry.” He started to leave. “Wait”, I called out. He turned. “You’re a magician, right?”, I asked. “Yeah.”
“Could you teach me?” “Hmm…alright. Follow me to my quarters.” We started walking. “The first rule of magic is to not use it for dumb things. Those TikTokers are an example.” I laughed nervously. “Yeah”, I said, thinking of my many TikToks in which I showed telekinesis to do chores.

In my tavern, at the next table, two men who looked to be barbarians sat at a table. One was taller, and he wore blue. The other wore yellow. “Squid”, said the taller one before plopping a wriggling squid tentacle in his mouth. “Dragon”, said the other. He then bit into a cube of meat. “Bat.” He bit into one’s lower half. “A bunch of bugs.” He grabbed fried bugs off of his plate and threw them into his mouth. “Are you two seriously trying to impress each other by eating?”, I said, smiling. This tavern has some of the most disgusting foods, but we only carry them to appeal to a select few. Another specialty of ours is veggie meat. It is weird to see an orc eating a veggie burger…especially when he’s right next to a group of fairies enjoying dragon flesh.

I woke up in a waiting room sitting down. I remembered that I was shot in the chest. I thought I died. Maybe this is the afterlife. I looked around to see no one. Outside the front doors, which were glass, I only saw white. Then, the door opened. It was a man in a lab coat. “Hello, I’m Keith. You’re in a place for people who died. These people have split personalities, and it’s sometimes hard for the world to choose an afterlife for them. Follow me.” I got up and followed him into a white room of two men on thrones facing me. One was blue and ethereal. The other was completely gold. They both looked at me. “This one is…different”, said the gold one, “I detect no split personality.” Keith looked at him, shocked. “So, what do we…”, Keith started. “We need time”, said the blue one. “Uh, I’m a glitch”, I said. They all stared at me. “I’m a being of chaos. My physiology makes no sense. I act a bit glitchy in the head, too.” I laughed. “I have always been fond of Valhalla and Heaven.”
Keith turned to me and said, "Until this is settled, you will be staying here at the waiting room. Meanwhile, we'll be discussing whether you should go to Heaven or Valhalla. I wouldn't be surprised if Buddha also shows up." I walked out, and the door closed. Stupid godly beings. I walked to the front doors and opened them. It was just a white void that went on forever. I looked down. I might as well. I stepped off, and I fell down. I continued descent for a few seconds before I blacked out.
I opened my eyes to see a woman looking down at me. She had a blue T-shirt and jeans. We were in a meadow. “Hi”, she said, “I’m Fiena, goddess of order. This is my personal copy of Earth. It has no people.” I got up. “Order? Well, I’m a being of chaos. Are you okay with that?” “Of course. I see good in you.” “I’m X”, I said. “Do you know how you ended up here?” “I probably just glitched into another reality. It happens.”

I don’t remember much of my life. I stood at a sidewalk in front of someone’s house. How did I get here? A limo pulled up to the curb. The door opened. Inside were three women in football jerseys. They also had that black paint on their faces. What’s weird was that no one held open the door. “Come in”, the blonde one said to me. I stepped in because I might as well. I sat next to a brunette, and the vehicle moved. The other two sat on seats facing each other. A TV attached to the ceiling was just behind the front seats. It displayed a football game. “So, you see the game last night?”, asked the brunette. “No”, I said. “It was good.” “Who’s your team?”, asked the redhead. “I don’t have one.” “Ah, I see what you’re doing”, said the blonde, “You’re scared that you have a team we don’t like.”
The brunette looked at me and said, “Y’know, I have to ask, why do guys love riding on this?” “I dunno”, I said. “It’s for us women”, said the blonde, “Ghost Limo has the best ghost girls.” “You all are ghosts?”, I asked. “Yeah”, said the redhead. They all looked to the screen. “Oh, fumble!”, shouted the blonde.
The limo stopped. I looked outside to see a giant skyscraper in this suburbia. The door opened automatically. I got out and said, “Thank you.” The door shut, and the limo was off. I heard a loud voice on a loudspeaker. “Welcome to the afterlife. Step in to get started.”

I laid on my couch. My relaxation was interrupted by a red mist forming in the living room. From it emerged the genie. “Sokra!”, I exclaimed.
“Hi. How have you been?”
“Great.”
“I’ve come to grant you three more wishes.”
“Hmm…I wish for a shapeshifting woman who will do what I say.” A woman appeared dressed as a belly dancer. “It’s a popular wish”, said Sokra. “Now, I wish to be mortal.”
“What? You’re giving up your immortality?”
“I want to experience risk. My life’s been boring. I want to go on an adventure, too. Traveling has sounded fun for such a long time.” “Alright. I’ve stripped you of immortality.” “I actually don’t want the third wish.” “Really?”, he said, surprised. “I’d better start packing.”

I jumped off my bed in fear. I crouched down and turned my head to get a look at the monster. It looked to be a woman with pink skin and antennas. She was sleeping. I think I missed some details because I shot up so fast, afraid that it would attack. It was sleeping, though.

I held the book in my hands. I flipped through it, seeing many creatures. Then, I found it. It was called a “herkademon.” The description simply said, “They are not hostile. They want to make friends.”

I wrote a note and threw it into the floor. It read, “Be my friend?” A hand emerged from beneath and grabbed it. A few seconds later, she crawled out from it, stood up, and looked at me, smiling. She wore a tank top and jeans. “Hi. I wanna be friends.” “Okay”, I said with the same expression, “Lemme show you my roller skates.”

“What are roller skates?” “I gotta teach you.”
We went to the side yard. We stood on the asphalt. I skated in a circle, and she watched in awe. “Wow”, she said, “I wanna try.”
A few minutes later, she was wearing my big sis’s skates. She held my hands. “When I let go, steer yourself, okay?”, I asked. She nodded. I let her go and walked by her side. She glided left and right while holding her hands out. “Now, if you wanna pick up speed, slowly kick back one of your feet.” She did so before heading to the fencing and grabbing it for support.

Harry, Octavia, and Persephone were cavalry members. They were tasked with taking out mythical creatures. In their shining armor, they rode up to a clearing in the Hills of Gasta. They saw what looked like roosters. The knights charged, and the birds looked up at them. The creatures looked to the sky, opened their mouths, and shot out fireballs. “I think they’re cockatrices”, said Octavia. The knights shot at the birds with arrows. The birds tried to escape by running, but they were too slow. There were explosions heard above. The knights looked up to see multiple fireballs falling toward the ground. The fireballs that the cockatrices sent up earlier had multiplied via exploding. The knights jerked the reins, and their horses ran. The grass was lit ablaze.
“Great job, White Boy”, Harry told his horse. “Really? That’s what you named it?”, asked Persephone.

Hideki found more than just a sword from his former world. He went to the tavern and saw an orc showing off a smartphone to his comrades. The phone didn’t work, though. It was cracked. He saw a woman on a bench reading Fifty Shades of Gray. There was a fairy wearing shutter shades.
He sat in the tavern. Then, he saw her: his girlfriend from his world. She stood in the doorway. He ran to her. She looked surprised and then hugged him. “How long have you been here?”, he asked. “A few minutes.” “You can live with me.” He led her to his house just a few buildings down.

I waited in the alley, and nothing happened. I drew a pentagram on my Bible, as it said, and nothing happened. "Sleep naked", the male voice said. I went to bed naked that night. I woke up and got dressed. I went down to my living room and saw a woman on my couch. She was wearing a toga and a crown of leaves. She saw me, smiled, got up, and said, "Hello, Howard, I am the voice, as well as the goddess Gylia. I have given you commands to ensure your trust." I stood stunned. "I heard a male voice", I said. "I guess I catfished you", she said, "Now, let's get down to business...you're a demigod." I hesitated. "So, is my dad a god?" "Yes", she said, "There is an apocalypse coming, but you can prevent it." I heard screaming outside. She ran to my backyard. I followed. We looked up in the sky to see demons flying. She held out her hand and shot a blast of energy at a demon, turning it to smoke. "I need you to try and fight these", she said, "Use your fists." A demon saw me and dove toward me. I let my fist fly into its face. The creature disappeared.

I painted a blue star on the grass and performed the hand gestures. This was the ritual for increased strength. The star glowed, as did my hands. Then, a fly flew above the star. Oh no. The ritual's been messed up. I watched as my left hand faded away from existence. I panicked. The star turned red. Okay, there's a way to fix this. I need an Enix Gem. They can be found in demon lions. I went into my house, grabbed my sword, and ventured to a cave that was rumored to have one. I arrived at he mouth of the cave, already seeing a sleeping lion's silhouette. I walked toward it quietly. It lifted its head. It saw me and sprang up. I rushed at it, aiming for the temple. It ran at me. My blade pierced right into the head. I let go of my sword. I jumped back to avoid it. It stood for a second before collapsing. It dissolved into liquid, and among the liquid was the gem.

Back home, I placed the gem on the star. My left hand faded into existence. I went to a rock about half my size and pushed it to test this strength. It felt as though I was pushing feathers.

God was standing there. I walked up to the giant figure, his body glowing alight. "My Lord", I said, "I have a new proposal for dogs." "Let me hear it", He said. "Alright, I believe that dogs should be able to transform into people temporarily. This is simple, I know, but it will benefit the human race." He stared at me. "This is all?" "Yes", I said.

"Do you understand that people would use dogs for...sexual antics?", He asked. "Humans can be irresponsible", He said, sternly. "I do, sir."

He made a face to show that he was pondering. He then replied, "I accept. From this day forth, dogs will have this ability. Good work." My face lit up. "Thank you, sir."
