I spent a week in there, with friends, 30+ years ago, I think we had 4 canoes 2 people to canoe, it's so beautiful, almost untouched by man. By end of day two, we were so engrossed with all the natural beauty it was basically: society? What society? Were the only society here! The Forest Service warned us, do not go into a moose's feeding area, they will use force to make you go away, and they are much bigger in real life than pictures, and if you cross them, people have been seriously hurt, several killed through the years, So, let the moose dine in privacy, and go catch a big walleye instead. Only so many people are allowed in on any day or week, it's a very popular place, get your entry permits early as possible, or you'll end up on next year's list. But it's a huge chunk of land, In my week up there, I only saw 2 other canoes the whole time, other than my group's. You can canoe right into Canada, no fences, no border lines.

India, a bit in the U.S. and a few other places are realizing the potential of covering water canals with a metal cover, solar panels on top, the cooling effect from the evaporating keeps the panel temperatures about seven degrees cooler than the surrounding land scape, which allows more power to be had from the panels on top.

My dog and myself were stalked by a mountain lion up there, while trout fishing, it was not fun or exciting, it was very scary both for me, and the dog, the lion was on his turf, and was just waiting for me or the dog to make one mistake and he'd pounce. I held my fishing pole out between myself and the lion, and with the lion 20 feet away, my shaking hands managed to get the key in the hole in the door, as me and the dog leaped in the door with me slamming it on the lions face.

One dark night, over Lake Superior, a large red object appeared in the sky, 10 or 12 smaller ones started rotating around the big light, them each flew away in different directions one at a time, then the large (mother ship?) Blasted away and in 2 seconds it was out of sight. My neighbor, a WWII flight camera man, shook his head and said, not from this planet!

I have friends who own a fish hatchery, you can't inspect every little minnow, every egg cluster in the river for even a couple "invasive species" birds and animals can even excrete eggs or recently hatched eggs from miles and miles away. Is every person exactly the same? No, some come from other places.
