Debatably, Christopher Eccleston in Doctor Who.

He played the Ninth Doctor for one series, but by the second series he was already replaced with the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant).

Christopher Eccleston stated that he "didn't enjoy the environment and the culture that we, the cast and crew, had to work in" and that he did not want to do any more based on the experience.

We do not publicly know what specifically he was referring to, but he claims he chose not to come back. Though the BBC basically said he couldn't handle the workload and blacklisted him.

There's no clear-cut, definitive answers as to what truly occurred.

It's only just now, just over 15 years later, that Eccleston has returned to Doctor Who in the form of audio dramas.

Their biggest successful purchase was obviously Marvel.

Star Wars is beginning to have waning returns, but it's been a gradual slide since about 2018.

As far as FOX goes, it looks to be slow-going. It's mostly benefitted in the TV side of things with FX and FOX shows being on Hulu now. I've heard The Simpsons is the most-watched show on Disney+, which is saying something. They also had a success on Hulu with Prey and are moving forward with Alien: Romulus for Hulu as well. The X-Men characters are going to come into play after the existing contracts with previous actors expire.

As a shlubby guy that drinks a bit too often and smokes socially, eats a lot of red meat and similar types of food, I actually fear my yearly check-up. Some day I’m gonna get the bad news.

My grandpa on my dad’s side had heart disease, my grandpa on my mom’s side had cancer, and my dad’s side of the family overall has a prolific history strokes and early onset dementia/Alzheimer’s.

I’d love a season or a movie to wrap it up.

Last time I spoke about Happy! on here somebody messaged me saying they were involved with the second season specifically. They told me the series was cancelled due to having a very troubled production.

When I asked if they knew where the whole resurrected Nick Sax and demon stuff was going, they said that’s part of the troubled production. That there was never any creative plan, everything was made up script-to-script. Scripts were often late, causing everything else to go overboard. The show runners didn’t have a plan, the writers had to wing it, the actors got scripts late, filming was delayed or running over schedule, etc. Apparently the whole thing was a headache.
