And I suspect it's being intentionally exploited by both sides of the conflict. Netanyahu and his yahoos have their power more entrenched, and the terrorists get a more openly hostile opponent to point fingers at for international and domestic sympathy when it inevitably kicks off big-time again.

This is, by the way, ‘officially’ Russian territory (according to themselves). Guess they’re trying to make themselves home.

Cash usually remains in circulation until it’s deemed unusable. The only reason you never see any monarchs prior to Elizabeth on coinage, which can remain in use for many decades, is because she straight up pre-dates decimalisation.

At that point, it's extremely uneconomical. Iran relies on smuggled western components for those drones, and launching a thousand of them to land ten hits on targets that probably aren't even that vital is a bad trade.

Not particularly so, given that like 90% of those damn drones are being shot down by the outdated and depleted ex-Soviet AA hardware the Ukrainians are stuck with. Israel's air defence net is incredibly stringent, and their ability to mount counterstrikes would quickly silence the launchers.

They’re basically the modern SS. Right down to not getting along well with the regulars and basically stealing supplies from each other.
