You can donate it to charity for a tax write-off. It’s super easy, they will come pick it up (even if it’s completely dead) and do the rest, and send you a receipt in the mail. It helps a cause you care about, but the receipt you receive will be for a fair amount less than you might expect.

As far as “bang for your buck” goes. If it’s truly a parts car, either put it up on FB/Craigslist or call around to some junkyards & small autofix places to get some numbers. You’ll have to do a little more work here but who knows maybe someone will want to pay for it.

You could try getting it to a Saturn dealership to see if they’d trade it in for any value at all toward a new/used vehicle but you’d have to get it to drive onto the lot for that.

Check out AS220, Binch Press, Q.A.W., The Avenue Concept, The Steel Yard, the Wurks, Nicholson file, Anti-Robot Club, New Urban Arts, Gather Glass, Anyhow studio, PVD printmakers, DWRI studio, and that’s all just in Providence! There’s more amazing art stuff in PVD that I’m forgetting about and beyond, out into the other cities & towns of RI. Help me out Reddit! What a fun list to compile

The general vibe in RI is that if you need serious medical or disability support services, it’s worth moving over the line into MA. RI Medicaid is fine, but the provider networks and medical systems and services in RI are sub-par. Massachusetts, particularly in the Boston area, is much better

Please stop sharing the contact info for these bozos . The news did it too unfortunately. It’s important for people to know these flyers are being distributed, but the contact info should be blocked out. Otherwise you are helping disseminate their materials

It has happened frequently to me and to people I know unfortunately. One of my friends tried to file a complaint with the local chief of police and they said that in order to file a complaint against an officer you have to give the officer who you’re complaining about your name and address, and it is up to the chief if they want to pursue it further. Not a great system if you’re being targeted by a biased cop. A lot of times with these pull overs, they don’t give tickets so there’s no record and it doesn’t go into the police data. In RI there’s an officer bill of rights that protects them from pretty much anything.
