Maybe I'm over hopeful but even though they're just ropes, I'd assume running over them escalates a charge from a moving violation to destruction of city property. You'd really hope to see that have a psychological impact.

It's honestly more similar to Buffalo and Cleveland than anywhere else in PA. "Mini-Detroit" is the vibe I got when I worked there for several months.

Scubadelphia does a thing where you can take a pool class with them to see if you like diving. The actual certification process is expensive but to sign up or gift the pool class sounded pretty affordable (to be clear certification is way more involved, multiple pool dives, real world dives, and a bunch of eLearning)

Sorry, I thought you were talking about shutting down the southern border because you didn't understand where all our farmworkers come from and didn't know illegal immigrants can't vote.

Dude go talk to farmers about where your food comes if you think it's actually about manufacturing democratic votes. Or look at actual Latino voting trends

I think it'd be fun if instead of expanding border security like Abbot wants, the Biden administration just directed FEMA dollars to northern cities instead to set these migrants up.

PPA has a direct number you can call but I had to get it from 311. If you call them direct (particularly during weekday hours but there is someone there all the time) they can even radio the team working your neighborhood and let them know (especially if it's an ongoing thing, those neighborhood crews are regulars and remember problem areas).
