Here’s a thought. Allow on street overnight parking like any normal city. All these sticker and zoning regs just make small landlords pave over their lawns. We had three go the way of concrete this last year - which was what the sticker was supposed to fix but when you allowed the NIMbYs to opt out and never revisit the idea?

There aren’t any statutes that require an apartment to have parking but maybe it’s different for commercial landlords? Or just the way they like to do things. A landlord can pay for your sticker on your behalf but they also don’t have to if it’s not in the lease.

It’s also way more affordable than Portsmouth. People go to Portsmouth for the water and to buy a house in a school district. Not a lot happening. Riverside is way cooler and much closer to everything else.

Ice skating or bowling. The bumper cars at KP are overrated but skating is good.

It’s fun but not a huge space so not really blend in kinda let’s spend time together - also depending on your politics the hunting animals decor may be a turn Off. Just saying. Having said that it’s totally fun!

Dr Burton - Burton family dental on mineral spring ave. She also has an office on s main downtown but parking is better in NP. Her staff is great. She’s done a bunch of replacing 1980s era fillings for me and crowns and her staff is lovely. And I’m a dentist hater by design.

If there was ticketing just happening, the 3-5 cars that park on our no overnight street would get ticketed at least semi regularly. They don’t. Still waiting for you to call the Pd tho…. I mean they are basically saying they can’t be bothered enforcing the law why would they lie about that? It makes the street residents happy because the no overnight rule is stupid anyway.

Oh puleeze. I’ve had a conversation with the police - on the phone - personally so I’m quoting. And yes I’ve lived here long enough too. You don’t want to believe me call the non emergency number right now and say hey / my neighbor is parking outside my house and it’s a no overnight zone can you give them a ticket? And see what they say. It’s ok we’ll wait…….
