Call your airline? They should be able to advise in that case. Also TSA website https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/identification reads like regular drivers licenses should work.

Thought I read that real ID was pushed back to 2025? Bring a passport as backup maybe?

Also - if looking in PVD - med students start looking in Feb and March for June 1 availability Fb July. So if you have the slightest expectation of a place for that time frame start looking now. If your employment situation is still tbd I doubt you’ll be able to get a place solo / with a roommate pvd is doable?

Talk to an agent. You don’t pay anything - the sellers proceeds covers the broker fee. Have someone run comps for you for all the neighborhoods you’re interested in. Also drive around / walk around listing looks promising online.

I ran comps for our unit and it spit out 2200 as the price. Statewide may be lower but east side is defo solidly around there.

If you just want the last word for last words sake, have it. Bryant has a fine but not stellar rep. Not a lot unique about it esp at a price tag like that. It's a regional business school primarily. I wouldn't encourage anyone looking at either RIC or URI to also apply there - Babson maybe but it's niche. ANd expensive. But have the last word if you need it.

Bryant has a new england wide rep as a second tier b-school. Always has. I think this is the intangible that you are missing here - no one is going to pull a bryant resume off the pile based on that. And if they are charging 50k a year? you can do better/same at a cheaper price. Payscale isn't free to use so I can't run alternate numbers. But they have a 73% acceptance rate? That speaks volumes on balance with your $ paywall.

Do you have evidence that anything but business has a good ROI? Most of the "ratings" are BS btw (look at how everyone is fleeing US news ratings, for example) so why don't you you show your work for starters?

I'm pointing out that if you're going to go 50k in debt for a degree (unless it's business, which is what Bryant's focus is) - your 50k will go much further somewhere else and have more name recognition/brand value than bryant. I'd imagine spending a ¼ of that at RIC would also be more effective. Even URI including room and board clocks in at $30,538....

"The full-time tuition fee for the fall and spring terms for all students is $48,432."
Maybe for something very specific it's got ROI but it's primarily a business school. If you want anything else but that, go elsewhere.

How many bedrooms? Local Avg 2 br rent is 2100 maybe even 2200 so that’s not as bonkers as it sounds. I mean it is actually bonkers but not unusual bonkers.

This! And it’s not clear there’s a slot there so if you are used to the drawer style it seems like you can’t drop anything in there - it’s not well marked (ie no stickers or different color tape to show you where the opening is).

It’s actually known for its education department. Historically was also a commuter school (and probably still is somewhat) so if you want the stereotypical residential college life and D1 sports this isn’t it. But is way cheaper.

Use a realtor - in rI landlords pay the broker fee not tenants. So it’s free to use them to find a place.

Reply to Commute from Boston by chocosunn
There’s a shuttle to campus at the bottom of the hill that’s free with brown ID. Also RIPTA is free with brown ID and you could take the 1 through the tunnel. But it’s still a walk from the trainW station itself. Whatever your paying in BOS- it’ll be cheaper here? You must be mildly familiar with PVD if you applied? Teaching? staff? What hours and where on campus? All factors to consider. Reverse commute hours So there’s that no?

So selling to move or had you already moved prior to sale? I mean just as I don’t shed a tear for non owner occupied landlords, I’d be hesitant to do so here as well tbh if you’re already somewhere else and it’s an investment like anything else. Do other states do this?
