Old house but new pipes as is our entire street. Ask your landlord before you spend money on a filter / esp more freaking plastic ones. It’s not hard to figure out where the old pipes are and the city has done a bunch of replacements already over the last 6/7 years. It’s way better than it was and the water quality in the city is actually quite good. Cloudy water might be a more local problem (ie just your house or a bad aerator or something else going on.)

Here’s a thought. Allow on street overnight parking like any normal city. All these sticker and zoning regs just make small landlords pave over their lawns. We had three go the way of concrete this last year - which was what the sticker was supposed to fix but when you allowed the NIMbYs to opt out and never revisit the idea?

There aren’t any statutes that require an apartment to have parking but maybe it’s different for commercial landlords? Or just the way they like to do things. A landlord can pay for your sticker on your behalf but they also don’t have to if it’s not in the lease.

It’s also way more affordable than Portsmouth. People go to Portsmouth for the water and to buy a house in a school district. Not a lot happening. Riverside is way cooler and much closer to everything else.

Ice skating or bowling. The bumper cars at KP are overrated but skating is good.

It’s fun but not a huge space so not really blend in kinda let’s spend time together - also depending on your politics the hunting animals decor may be a turn Off. Just saying. Having said that it’s totally fun!
