Trying to sell a lot of crap before I move. Tools, garden stuff, some furniture, pet stuff.

Jigsaw, mouse sander, clamps, miter saw, power drill, some unused painting supplies, various hardware like screws and nails, electric lawnmower, dorm fridge, broom, rakes, garden shears, trowel, ceramic pots, 3-part glass corner desk, 2 drawer filing cabinet, 2 seater couch, aluminum outdoor chairs, dining table, bar cart, rope hammock and steel hammock stand, corn hole set, pet crate, food bowls, pet talking buttons, maybe some rugs.

Anything interesting to you, make an offer.

I don't get that at all. The people I'll be working with all live one or two towns over, they have a 45-60 minute commute. As a guy who's never had a drive to work longer than a quarter of an hour, I'm definitely not down with that. People sell their time for cheaper digs, doesn't make any sense. I'm gonna run out of time before I run out of money, that hour before and after work is priceless to me.

Decided yesterday to take a job offer up in New Hampshire so I guess I'll be busy packing stuff up and getting the house sale-ready for the next couple of weeks. I'm not looking forward to moving but I am excited to live up there.

Super sad to leave the life I built and the friends I made here, I'm a little old to have to do it all again.

I realized I missed the last official Hooks n Hops meetup tonight, as the original planner is giving up managing the group's social media. Meetups will still happen, I just expect there will be less news.

It's a fun group to be a part of. Meeting new people and then forgetting their names because you don't see them for weeks at a time. And then being all embarrassed because they know your name but you're floundering and just waiting until someone everyone doesn't know shows up so everyone has to introduce themselves.
