Apple TV+ has some great content, but the actual hardware is by far the best of the bunch. I used to use either my PS4 Pro or Fire TV HD, but once PlayStation TV died and the Fire TV just slogged through basic use, I went to an Apple TV and never turned back.

I love wood stoves, especially because you can leave a pot of water on it to help add humidity.

Yeah whole house. It’s a MXZ-5C42NAHZ, so it’s a HyperHeat model, with two air handlers, one for the first floor, one for the second. It works very well and only starts working hard when it’s below about 10 degrees.

I have, unfortunately nobody wants to touch my roof. It’s metal tile, so drilling into it is a no-go.

They only come in smaller sizes. Once the dryer is done for, I’ll switch to electric.

I’m not on gas, but my electric bill is between $350 - $450 per month. 2020 sq ft, on a Mitsubishi heat pump, water heater is electric, and we have two Teslas. The only gas appliance we have, for now, is our propane dryer. Figured I’d throw that in because people might be curious about the difference.

You’re welcome. Not everyone is going to jump on board with “her body her choice”, but when it affects their wallets? Different story.

That’s kind of how I sell abortion to pro-lifers. More kids in poverty means more dollars going to social programs, more kids that become part of the system, and more kids that, statistically, will stay in the system for the rest of their lives.
Abortion keeps people off social programs, which Republicans (pro-lifers) love.

Isn’t it more reasonable to say that Black and Hispanic people are more likely to drive vehicles under disrepair because they are statistically poorer than non Black and Hispanic people? Maybe we should have some sort of agency that inspects vehicles for safety violations? Like a motor vehicle agency? They could even do those inspections on an annual basis!
Oh wait, most state motor vehicle agencies no longer do safety inspections because… reasons?

I’ve owned three Teslas lol, you could have taken my word. As soon as you get a VIN number you’re about a week or so from delivery. Anyway, they raised the cost during COVID to slow down demand (which didn’t work), so the cars are now back to pre-COVID prices.
They also dropped the Ultrasonic Sensors, but that was like $100 savings per car.

You can get a refurbed 14” MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro for about $1,500 direct from Apple. But if you’re only connected to a single external display, I’d just go with the Air. I bought an M1 MBA for my wife last year and she loves it, of course that was just before M2 came out lol.
