What - Harvard/Cambridge is way more stuck up than Yale/New Haven.

Clickbait. Here's also what's in the article.

"Lots of caveats here in the migration numbers: In a typical year, Connecticut will see 80,000 to 110,000 people moving to and from other states. Since the data are based on polling samples, a net departure of, say,15,000 residents can have margins of error so large that conceivably it wasn’t a net loss at all, in reality."

Nice try. Once again false and inaccurate about the direct relationship between the two mayors with this selective framing. Your reply focused on the part about the aides and the broader administration, not the direct relationship between the two mayors, which is what the title of this post is inferring. If you updated it to "deBlasio administration aides" per the article, then yes, it would be accurate. This is a key problem with Adams's critics with this selective framing that's not helpful and quite problematic in many ways.
"Mr. de Blasio said in a statement on Wednesday night that he had spoken to Mr. Adams earlier in the day and that he understood how difficult it was to govern the city and wanted him to succeed.“I sympathize with his frustration with certain critics but want to emphasize this: No one speaks for me but me,” Mr. de Blasio said."
"Mr. Adams said that Mr. de Blasio had been “extremely helpful” and that his frustration was directed at others from his administration who wanted to see Mr. Adams fail."

This post is misleading OP. Look I get that there's visceral dislike for Adams on this subreddit, but at least make an accurate post.
Adams is calling out petty critics from the DeBlasio administration not DeBlasio himself. The Mayor and former Mayor actually get along quite well.

A nice compromise here is Norwalk - larger grand list and more amenities in general than New Haven but less sterile than Stamford. Can't go wrong with all of the choices listed though.

Norwalk > Stamford.
Norwalk has more charm and a community vibe while having that NYC proximity as well in my opinion.
It's also in between NYC and New Haven so the best of all worlds as far as the arts and dining are concerned.

SoNo Collection in Norwalk too - albeit a different audience in some ways.

How is South Norwalk not on at least the top 25...one of the best neighborhoods by far for professionals and empty nesters (we need more places like this represented on this list not just hallmark movie suburbs). Lots of diverse restaurants and shops (better than bland West Hartford imo), pretty walkable, and great access to the train station - all while being a model example of adaptive reuse (i.e. repurposing historical buildings). There's no neighborhood like it in CT to be honest.
