That event was a tiny tiny step in a very long road. If there’s anything powered by a fusion reactor before 2100 I’ll be pleasantly shocked.

Edit: Honestly - the best thing anyone can do right now is build out utility power storage. This will save fuel now and prepare the power grid for future power sources, whatever those might be.

Trump maybe kind of went overboard with the tariffs (maybe not-in-accordance-to-international-agreements) and we seem to be trying to not get in WTO hot water after the fact. We seem to be making crap arguments so there’s probably a reason we can’t just say ‘oops.’ Probability we don’t want to admit that democracy let in someone that was able to f things up so thoroughly. So we’re kind of stuck defending the mango.

Here’s hoping GWH (ESS Inc) can get moving on their lithium free 70% efficient iron flow battery production and sales. And free up those lithium supply chains for the Tesla EVs and other mobile applications with it’s 25 year service life.
