Thanks that works for the IEM vs OB or CB. Gizaudio has his list with proper ordering from S down but he may do it all manually. It's not a big deal just a minor nitpick, it's still well organized.

EDIT - That filter for IEM, OB, CB should be easy enough to add as a built-in filter to the list but my Sheets skills aren't great.

I bent the hell out of the hooks so they almost do an immediate 180* and I wear the IE600 at more of a diagonal angle than it's displayed in pics (or so I think, haven't taken a pic of me wearing it). That makes the stock cable much more bearable for me and overall the comfort is still great. I've been looking for a modular cable (multiple end terminations) that fits the IE600 without dropping like $300+ on some boutique cable.

The IE300, 600 and 900 all have the same recessed MMCX connection so a normal MMCX cable usually won't fit properly (even that it may work). I've heard of some people taking the red and blue circles off the end of a normal MMCX which basically makes it recessed but I wouldn't risk that on anything other than a cheap budget cable.

There are budget IE300/600/900 cables on Ebay and Ali Express for like $20 as long as you aren't looking for modular.

I don't know what to make of this incoherent rambling but I agree there's no way the SA6 Ultra will be a limited run. It's just marketing hype to push sales.

I think that a great value (or lack of) doesn't mean that you click with a headphone. If you think the Sundara's sound sucks then the value proposition doesn't mean shit, and to the contrary if you click with an expensive headphone then the price tag may not matter as much.

(I own Sundaras and think your point is accurate but trying to explain for the person above)

Most of the IEM explosion is centered around Shenzen where the production time is very short to turn things around. They can buy off the shelf drivers (almost none of the drivers are proprietary), 3D print the shell, and keep prototyping without breaking the bank. Designing and producing a full sized headphone prototype is significantly more resource intensive.

Also I think many of these small IEM companies in Shenzen have learned from others and it allows them to churn out IEM's at a much faster pace because they have a lot of the basics down.

Did you use a dot matrix printer to print your picture and then scan it for this post?
