Also it’s weird that these supposed conservatives who are constantly screaming the market should solve everything are the first to blame Biden for not having a regulated and planned economy when the market doesn’t work in their favor. Either they are deeply dishonest or complete idiots that don’t have a clue about the very basics of economics

Trying to point to the percent that we import is misleading. Gas and oil are commodities that are traded on markets globally. The fact that Russian supply is pretty much off the market for the west has raised prices globally regardless of the percent we import. Domestically produced supply is also effected by price increases. We also export our supply and sell at the increased global prices

You can thank Russia for fucking up the “normal” supply of gas an oil

I think it’s a trait of locals that haven’t lived in other places for long stints. It kinda blinds them to all the good stuff they’re taking for granted

It is grasping. The city is growing and going taller conserves space. The tower will add population density and foot traffic in in the area to support local businesses just like the Superman building. Is not like either of these spaces are exiting green spaces to protect or are going to demo historic buildings

I’ll also vouch for East Providence. I bought over near Pierce Field almost 2 years ago and the town and neighborhood is nice and close to green spaces and the bike trail and walkable to the city. It’s ideal. The new high school my son goes to is awesome and we will be updating the other schools too. Also let’s keep Metacomet green 🙏🏻

Yes. For our region we’ve got it good but on a national scale our cost of living is pretty high. But also who wants to live in the middle of nowhere Mississippi just to say they have a low cost of living

Ah, well I was misinformed, thanks. Someone told me that and I had also remembered the Reddit post about it so coupled with the experience of the donuts tasting less magical the last few times I’ve stopped by I assumed it was truth.

Not the exactly the same clientele I’m sure. PVD is great at supporting local small businesses. I’m sure everyone will turn out for them

When I was in the USCG we had cutters going over to Iraq and also port security teams. At that time we were under DoT. The coast Guard operates globally as maritime law enforcement for the U.S.
