There used to be a unique blend of politics here that resulted in common sense governance. It was more of a fiscally conservative socially liberal "live and let live" ideology that was paramount. Nowadays the progressive supermajority is hellbent on screwing all of us except the wealthy.

I fully support hunting with dogs, but I don't run hounds. You can definitely bear hunt without them. Identify food sources and as the season goes on they'll feed quite often. Bear meat spoils far quicker than venison, I always plan on icing the carcass down unless it's really cold... but getting the hide off asap is key.

I've had Vtel internet for 7 or 8 years and I can count the outages I've experienced on one hand. Yesterday's outage lasted for about an hour for me.

They're not basically a business they are a business. County Sherrif departments with no county government mea s no oversight. I posted above as well, Sherrif departments in VT are "for profit" and allow the elected Sherrif to pocket ket up to 5% of the contracts they secure.

The Sherrifs Departments in Vermont are an absolute joke. They're a "For Profit" entities yet have full law enforcement capabilities! State law allows the Sherrif (an elected position not requiring law enforcement experience) to pocket up to 5% of the contracts he secures. There is ZERO accountability. We have County Sherrifs departments and no county government!

A major reorganization of the system is required.
