Basic civility would be understanding that you are not special and entitled to public spaces because of sme you think you did makes you special over. everyone else.

And I help my neighbors dig their cars out AND don't expect anything in return. But you seem to think everyone and society owes you something when it snows.

Yea they seem to act like they own the whole street. I walked by once during the 'social distancing takeout' phase and it looked like they passive-aggressively made the line spacing way too big to push the line down the sidewalk in an almost 'if I have to do this all of you that live here must suffer' kind of way.

Didn't they just take over the street for some party thing a few weeks ago? I was wondering if the even bothered to tell the people who live there it was gonna happen?

Kisslings has really been dropping the ball lately. Last time I had them they were really disappointing too. Worst part is though they keep rising their prices even as the price of chicken wings has gone down. It's now $18 for 10 wings! While just up the street Happy Hour Haven has what I think are much better wings and are 8 for $10 and 75 cents each on wed.

Mid-century cities were getting designed for people who didn't live in them. Basically due to a complicated mix of mid-century housing policy, banking loans and a whole ton of of racism, cites got thought of and designed as places suburbanites would commute into for work and leave right after. It's how we get atrocities like Kansas City.

BPD don't give a fuck about crime, this city, anyone not a cop or anyone they don't know personally, hell they don't even care about just doing their job. They only thing they care about is that they are 'respected' and patted on the back by society just for their existence. And if they don't get that, they'll do even less of their job to 'punish' everyone else. We need to burn the whole department down and start over.
