It was a great way to start Craigs run as Bond. I think it's tied with No Time To Die as the best Craig Bond films.

Brandon Cronenberg came out and said there wasn't much of a difference in the NC-17 Cut. I'm guessing the orgy scene was more lewd. I also heard there was a close up of a penis ejaculating.

Watergate would be really good.
Battle at little big horn. His depiction of Custer would be hilarious.

I agree. The OT has some pretty bad acting. Except for Harrison Ford. Mark and Carrie dont get good till Return of The Jedi.
The dialogue was pretty corny in the first film for sure. It gets better in ESB and ROTJ.

Reply to I don’t understand the reviews of Fatman (2018) Vs. Violent Night (2022) by ProbablyASithLord
I finally watched Fatman this yr. While I love everything to do with Santa Clause and Mrs. Clause. I honestly could care less about Skinny Man plot leading up to their confrontation. It just seemed most of his story was him being quirky just for the sake of it with no depth. The actual confrontation was good between the 2. Overall its a 5.5/10.
While with Violent Night. I felt the first 40 was pretty boring with cliched family drama and bad jokes. But the last hour is a blast. The flashbacks were cool. The interactions between Santa/Trudy were adorable and heartwarming. The action and gore were great. I take it slightly over Fatman 6.5/10.

Most of the time Berg knows how to bring the best out of Wahlberg. Lone Survivor and Deepwater Horizon are their other collabs and they are both really good. They also have Spenser Confidential and Mile 22 which are pretty bad though.
It might be Peters best. But I would also say Friday Night Lights and Lone Survivor are up there as well.

I did the same thing. The french plantation scene really starts to make the film drag.
I also dont get the praise for Brando in this film. His laziness really shows in this film. Like he couldnt be bothered to act. FFC does his best to make it seem like Brando's character is suppose to be like this but I just dont buy it.
The film is still good but that 3rd act almost ruins the film.

I get your opinion. The killing of Gosling that early surprised me. But it works for the film. Cause its about fathers and their sons and the impact fathers have on their sons.

I didn't think the story was boring in the slightest. I thought it was compelling to watch Dani's journey throughout the film.
>!She starts off feeling lost after the passing of her parents and sister. Then we watch as the cult cleverly disconnects Dani from anything she has left of her old life. She feels that the only real home she has left is with them!<
Then of course the great acting, cinematography, and dialogue. It's definitely not for everybody.
