Elevated and/or peaky treble doesn’t equal detail. E.g. LCD-5

I know I shouldn’t be surprised by this as it’s likely a serial down voter, but why downvote this?
For jazz, I recommend Ezra Collective’s newest album - Where I’m Meant To Be. Happy listening

Dream Theatre is awesome. Prog and prog metal benefit from headphones with more resolution.
Another album worth checking out is Dust and Disquiet by Caspian. That album has a very high dynamic range.

They mostly cover Metallica on their first 2 albums. My favorite is their album third album Cult that is mostly music written by them.

Like the other person said - metal. Give symphonic metal a listen if you like classical (checkout Apocalyptica). Other genres that benefit are prog and post-rock.

E.g. LCD-5. It’s darkness is one of the main reasons I got it. After owning a dozen headphones before it, I realized I preferred dark headphones.

If you want perfect (or near perfect) frequency response adherence then get the DCA Expanse.
Remember that Harman curve is a smoothed curve. So it’s an average and is not going to be for everyone.
