Do you think using another tragedy to highlight our own serious issues and taking away from the conversation to focus on only us is helpful? Especially in a comment section of a tragedy on the other side of the earth? You're not helping, what's going to help is boots on the ground in Texas, pounding on doors, protesting, rallying and demanding, also getting as many trans people into safe spaces as possible, not what's going on in this thread.

I. Agree that Abbott is a monster but not every news story belongs to the USA.

My brother's childhood cat lived to be 33. My parents were never great pet owners, she was declawed, indoor/outdoor and ate the cheapest food, I don't think she had ever been to the vet in her life.

I don't quite remember his face it was so long a ago, but I do remember his name, I was in CB in the early 90s. I think I remember hearing rumors back then but I was young and didn't understand what others were talking about.

Also DARE didn't work, all my friends from back then are dead.
