I remember thinking scornfully of people that scramble to get milk before a storm, as I was out getting milk before a storm.

Yeah until the tobacco industry has enough of a hold on the market to profit then there will be a quick switch.

But seriously, my kids have been coughing and sneezing ever since I shut the windows and turned on the heat. If I kept them home for coughing they'd never go into school.
Surprisingly, knock on wood, we've been healthy so far, but I have older kids that wash their hands and don't put their mouth on everything.

I like it when they put them in that wasted space in the middle of an on/off ramp.

Yup, as long as you do it within 60 days, so you basically have to read it fast.
Yeah they're 45 minutes away from me so I don't go there that often.

Their trade in is a little disappointing, I can show up with 10 books for trade-in and get maybe $20 in store credit.

Children's museum will be a bit of a stretch for the 10 year old, I was sad when I realized my kids had kind of aged out of it. Definitely science museum though.

The clotting factors they get infused with aren't much cheaper. One bleeding incident could result in needing $250,000 (probably more now, this was 10 years ago) of Factor-7 to stop it. It isn't cheap to be a hemophiliac.

Since capitalism is entirely motivated by money, we make it profitable to play by our rules (move towards green technologies) and expensive to ignore them (carbon tax).

Marlborough finally repaved two roads I use pretty often and it feels like a luxury.
But hey if you want to feel better about our roads take a quick trip over the border to RI, you'll feel much better after that.
