I don't think intelligence is necessarily a factor of number of neurons. There are are species of birds that don't have big brains that show very good problem solving ability. It probably has something to do with the type of neurons and way they are connected that generates intelligence.

I think there are at least 4 levels of AGI.
AGI on the level of a child or a slow human.
AGI at IQ 100 average human intelligence
AGI ate 120 IQ above average human intelligence
AGI at 140 to 170 IQ genius level human intellingence
The fifth level ASI far beyond a level of intelligence that humans are capable of achieving.

There should also be a Bill of Rights for the AIs not just for humans affected by AIs.

First Month, not much. It will take months if not years for any discovery to make to the wider society and have an impact.

Planes don't really need pilots now.

Live your life normally. Who knows when this will happen. You may want to choose a career that is harder for a machine to replace. Something with as much randomness in tasks as possible. Lots of varied physical tasks. Something like master carpenter required good math sills and ability to work with your hands.

In the short term AI will not make most people's lives better. It may help cure some diseases and solve the global warming problem. But, expect mass unemployment and an increase in crime for the rest of the century.
