I've read all of the novels and short stories. Apparently they are better in Polish?
If you read them, go in with low expectations and you might enjoy them? I found them scattered and not very compelling.
On the other hand, the Witcher 3 game is a masterpiece.

It's worth mentioning that the simplest solution is sometimes the best. A simple Google Docs or Sheets file can sometimes do everything you need. Often your smartphone will also have a note app, although I prefer one that syncs so that I don't lose the information if my phone dies (I prefer Colornote on Android).
The more complicated the solution gets, the more likely it is to fail.

Reply to How to fall in love with reading again by THE_sleepycat
I used to read tons in high school, then got out of the habit. Oddly enough, the thing that got me back into reading was ebooks on my smartphone because I was traveling a lot for work.
I've always got my phone with me and my ebook reader keeps my place in my book. If I'm in transit for 15 min or an hour then I can pull out a book that keeps right where I left off. Even on break at work I can read for 10 or 20 minutes. Eventually I found that I was in the habit again and reading roughly as much as I did in high school.
There are tons of free eReader apps for phones. There are tons of free ebooks on places like Project Gutenberg. My average ebook is 0.5 MB, so why not toss a bunch on your phone?
Just be sure to spend a reasonable amount of time fiddling with your eReader settings to make it comfortable. Many have lots of customization options and I didn't like the defaults so it took a little while to find my comfort zone. eg, I love white text on black background.

He's an award winning, well respected, prolific author who has had a profound impact on many people's lives. But you don't think that he is capable of writing at all. Sure.
Frankly, this kind of over the top gatekeeping says more about you than it does about him.

It's perfectly fine not to like Sanderson. It's somewhat absurd to pretend that he cannot "actually write".

I was talked into reading them as well. The most shocking thing was that the "Grey" book from the author and universe isn't nearly as painful (written from his perspective). It just made all the rest of the books look even worse.
They were bad, but I've honestly read worse books.

Ah yes. Why would I get the impression that you would be the type who would make snide and biting comments towards others, with just enough plausible deniability to pretend to be a supportive kind of person?
Perhaps my "brain" has simply heard far too many people who talk just like you and had to watch far too many people severely depressed afterwards.

If you don't think that overweight people are continually treated like trash and abused because of their weight, then you don't really know any overweight people. It's rampant. It's destructive. It ruins people.
People justify the abuses with garbage just like this.

No one does that. No one. It's a myth and a lie and an excuse to abuse others.

Do you realize how much abuse is poured on people who are overweight? Do you have any vague notion? It's rampant. It's excessive.
They don't need more. It doesn't help. Some of them have medical conditions where they can't do much about it. I have family members in that situation.
It's about balance. Sometimes you have to accept your situation. If you can get healthier, awesome. If you can't, then accept yourself as you are. Try to be healthy, but love who you are as well.
Overweight people have more than enough people telling them that they are "ugly" and "hideous" and "loathsome". It's over the top and unnecessary. If they want to work with their doctors about being healthier, awesome. They don't need more strangers telling them that they are ugly.

Overweight people all know it's hard on their health. They all know. All of them. They don't need additional abuse from strangers. They have more than enough stress in their life without it.
My sister is overweight in an unhealthy way. It would be reasonable for me to talk to her in a caring way about her weight, because of the relationship that we have. That would be appropriate.
It isn't necessary for me to talk to her because she already knows, and her doctor and husband have talked to her about it and she really truly doesn't need additional people on her case about it. She doesn't need her brother talking to her about it as well. And she certainly doesn't need strangers pretending to be concerned either.
She knows. The false concern doesn't help anything or anyone.

Imagine if all the people with so much "concern" about the health of others spent as much time talking about alcoholism or cigarette smoking. If every single time someone was drinking or smoking, they went up in arms with just as much fervour as people do about overweight people?
Yeah, no, sorry, I don't buy the "I'm only concerned about their health" line. It's just fat shaming and abuse.
Yes, definitely, being seriously obese is hard on your health. However, "losing weight" isn't as easy as some people pretend. Sometimes there are medical issues involved. Sometimes it's genetic. Sometimes it's just none of your bloody business and you should damned well leave it alone.
If you're so obsessed about criticizing people for unhealthy decisions, go ahead and spread that concern to all the smokers and drinkers, who are far more likely to die from their actions. I'm certain that they would appreciate how much you care.

It's possible to screw up absolutely anything. There are no exceptions. None.
The fact that they screwed up their solar farm does not mean that most other places are not saving money with it. There's a reason that they are popular. It works.

I worked in a citric acid plant. What was the source of citric acid? Corn syrup. It is easier to process than oranges or "citrus fruit". Chemically it is simply citric acid, no matter the source.
If the protein is nutritious and doesn't taste like bugs, why not? Your body doesn't care where the protein comes from. If it's used as protein powder then it's a very effective way of getting quality nutrition to people.
Nutrition is a big deal. People are starving or suffering from malnutrition. It's foolish and callous to discard healthy and nutritious food sources and insist that people should just die instead.
Again, I doubt that you'd be able to taste insects when you eat this the way that it's intended to be eaten (probably mixed into other food). Why make a fuss out of it?

Everyone has different tastes! There's a YouTuber that I like who is obsessed with them and does some interesting analysis of them as well. The Proper Bird has a great voice and a nice take on things.
