Pot meet kettle.
Northern New England's great, but if there's one thing I've noticed from people up here, it's like their little cluster of small towns is the center of the world to them, and the world outside of New England is just something you hear of on TV.

Wouldn't know because I'm not about the 2+ hour drives for early season-one-route-open skiing, but that's just me.
Another suggestion for winter recreation around here: cross country skiing. It's a little less social and not as fun as alpine skiing, but it's still fun, good exercise, gets you out of the house in the winter, free after investing a couple hundred for the skis and boots, and you can do it locally. Doe Farms is great for it if/when the lamprey freezes over enough to go out on, that's right by UNH. Haven't done skiing at Vaughan Woods, but it's also not far and the trails there would be perfect. Or during our big storms, before the sidewalks are cleared you can go right outside your door.

Cheap, small state so higher availability, enough of them people notice it's a thing and then want to get their own.

I only subscribed a couple of years in college 12+ years ago.
I don't watch sports, and I've never had an issue pirating whatever I want to watch, so it's never been a consideration for me.

I got a call once from a guy angry with me demanding I take him off my call list. He didn't know number spoofing was a thing, and thought I was some spam company calling him.

What I wonder is what did I do that got my on the list for all this 603 spam?
I've lived in other states for years without getting spam from that state's area codes. In fact, it was handy to distinguish something important vs. spam based on whether it's from my current area code or one I hadn't lived in for 5+ years.

Highland Games seem to be the big festival of that nature in NH. Tickets aren't cheap and I think you have to order them pretty far ahead.

I'll find the occasional complete turtle in ME, but for the most part I've never noticed really bad or needlessly aggressive drivers there.
NH on the other hand, I probably see more ridiculous road-rage types than anywhere I've lived, including NJ.

If we're talking about gauging possible outcome to the election, that's probably true.
But OP explicitly said this:
> Curious to see the demographics of this sub vs. the overall results from the state as a whole.
But he's not measuring who this sub voted for if he's not listing the candidates as answer options to his poll.

The point is this is a known major story. I chose a left leaning source because this is reddit, and the point I'm making is this story is a thing, and not some right wing conspiracy.

Drive up to the Franconia Notch area is an absolute must. You can search around to pick a small hike depending what you're comfortable with. Artist's Bluff is a major scenic one that's a nice short hike. I'd do that, and hit the kanc (note: this is a scenic highway, but not strictly about driving, more like a lot of stops where you walk around for a few minutes to see the views) in the same day.

But you said you wanted to see the demographics of this sub. Are you saying it's unrealistic to believe there are independents or libertarians in the new hampshire subreddit? Because that would be the first time I've heard that claim.

Easy. Democrats propped up his campaign so he'd win the primary. Now all you have to do is fill in the circle at your polling place today.

If people aren't at all informed I'd rather they abstain or do a write-in. Both of which they have a right to do, and for good reason.
That said, it is kind of considered a civic duty to inform yourself to some extent.
But, to pressure people into voting when they are uninformed, seems malicious.

You'll have to find a way around the paywall, probably. Bolduc's one of the candidates they've done this on, dumping $3.2 million on ads to enhance his campaign during the primary.
I trust most people would agree WAPO's at least not a conservative source. I've heard the story talked about by people all over the map, I'm pretty sure including places like TYT which I think everyone will agree is left wing (criticizing the establishment for it), as well as Jimmy Dore which people might disagree on how left vs right he is (he sure likes to state that he's a progressive), and of course conservatives freely talk about it.
My take on the overall criticism of it is people on the left think it's playing with fire and a betrayal to their base. People on the right find it dirty and some are crossing their fingers it backfires on them.
Personally, I hope most people would agree that's it's dirty and not healthy for democracy, regardless of whether they support these candidates or not.
