Aloha! So far I'm only staying in Texas for 1 month, and then I go back to Barcelona Spain (where I'm based). On another occasion we'll plan a larger roadtrip through the US. Probably next year 🤞
OOOOH I didn't know about that place in Kyoto! Honestly I don't know yet. One idea is to replace the ukulele with another "Trippy" and treat it like a title that gets passed on from ukulele to ukulele. The other, if Trippy gets broken, is to use part of the ukulele to incorporate it into another, assuming it can't be fixed. For now, I have a backup replica sitting in storage, and we'll cross that bridge hopefully never 🤞.
There's currently less than 500 people who've been to every country, and YES they were a huge motivation! But the main motivation was wanting to do something my life that could bring a lot of joy to people, while combining my love for travel and music. And not to be too morbid, but I also wanted to do something that could leave a fun legacy behind. I literally asked myself "if I died during this project (or afterwards), would I be happy with how I will be remembered?" The answer was yes, so I'm going for it.
