Or believe the country was founded in 1619 and the police are all former slave catchers, and the native Indians were all pacifist farmers.

Reply to Vega v. Krasner trial by Paparddeli
"Krasner had represented one of two defendants in a capital homicide case Vega prosecuted, which went to a three-week trial in 2016 after several years of ongoing litigation. The jury returned a guilty verdict. However, the verdict did not result in a death sentence."
"During those proceedings, Krasner alleged, Vega tampered with witnesses, lied to the judge, and sexually harassed a paralegal."
"Several months after that trial ended, Krasner announced his candidacy for district attorney."
"During cross-examination, Gold asked why Krasner had not mentioned the alleged misconduct when he responded in a verified statement to Vega’s age discrimination complaint to the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission."
"In that statement, Krasner claimed he fired Vega after a “30-year job interview,” referring to Krasner’s observation of Philadelphia prosecutors in the time he worked as a defense attorney."

Oh I’m from the area. I was born under the EL. Now I live four blocks from the EL. I’m just not a “90’s baddie” whatever that is.
Right in your link it says the Wanamaker’s Christmas show has always been more popular.
How long have you been a fellow Delaware Vallien?”

I’ve just never heard anybody but schmaltzy newscasters call it that. Valleys usually imply nearby mountains.

I took a bus to New York. That doesn’t make me a New Yorker. I took a plane to Cancun. That doesn’t make me Mexican.

Dr Oz grew up in Wilmington, which has a Septa station too. He lived in the dorms at Penn in his teens and early 20s. Would you say he is “from Philly?”

What is this “Delaware Valley” you speak of?
TreeMac12 t1_iwrkwrq wrote
Learn to use the word “near.” As in in “I live NEAR Philadelphia” or “I grew up NEAR Philly.”

Climbing greased poles is Italian culture, Santa is German culture. I'm still missing your point.

>no culture
Los Angeles was founded by Spanish explorers in 1542.
It produces almost all the movies, music and TV shows you consume. It has a population of 4 million, where 1 in 6 people work in a creative field.
It has a downtown, beaches and a subway. The Getty Museum. The largest port and manufacturing center in America. The sports teams have won an embarrassing amount of championships at every level: more NCAA champions, more Super Bowls, more Stanley Cups, more World Series, more NBA championships and MLS cups than Philly.
But sure, no culture.

"Alexander and another man called for a locksmith to assist them with a vehicle on the 2000 block of Alter Street in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia. When the locksmith arrived, Alexander and the other man allegedly struck the locksmith with a firearm and stole his work van which contained vehicle key fobs and vehicle key fob programming tools."
Alter Street is 1/2 block below Washington Ave, by Dock Street Brewery South.
