Thats good that they are finally doing it.
It looks like its a 15 billion dollar undertaking though which is why it hasn't been considered for vt.
If forest fires become a consideration here we should probably look into it.

By that logic why doesn't California bury its transmission lines?
Its incredibly incredibly incredibly expensive and would be a massive undertaking.

Public land.
Town, state, city, and federal land is where most homless encampments tend to pop up.

Vett with drag slicks is the optimal winter car.
Make sure to buy up abot 2000 acres of forest land. Clear cut it and build 2 million dollar mansions on 7 acre lots. Vermonters will love that

Yeah. Skiing is expensive af. Bolton is on the cheaper side but still unaffordable for most. We need more nonprofits like chochrans.

20 an hour is barely a living wage in vermont right now. Anyone making under 50k is struggling.

Unfortunately a lot of companies in Vermont are out of touch and pay way less than that. Because of our "low cost of living" its not low.
I would reccomend haggling pretty hard with employers on salary. And walk away from anyone that tries to justify low pay because of our cost of living.
Keep in mind workers are very much in demand in VT right now. And companies will pay higher if you give them a hard time.

Vermonters are very much like this. If you are foxing to move here you might want to get used to that.

Reply to Off-Grid solar solution? by Impressive-Parfait18
If possible you probably still want to hook the house to the power grid. I know people with pretty large solar arrays that still don't make enough to power their house in the winter.
Running a house entirely on a generator is just stupid and bad for the environment. Don't do this just because you want to live a specific lifestyle
