Thats why I said "fine" not good. The food I had at the middlebury mad taco was like actually bad. Like my gf assumed that they poured a ton of liquid smoke on it or something. It had an off taste that made both of us nauseous.

Treeline or not. Temp drops about 5 degrees per 1k feet. If you dont know the trails well. And don't have experience backpacking I would really reconsider. Its the time of year when they keep having to rescue people because they get themselves up there and then its icy af.
