The problem we are having is as more and more and more people move here, our demand for services goes up and up and up. Leading to a never ending capitalistic loop. We need to effectively cap our population before our needs overtake our capacity

If they paid 480k for a house in Vermont in 2018 then clearly money isnāt an issue for them.

If you check his record, he signs almost EVERY https://governor.vermont.gov/governor-scotts-blog/action-taken-governor-scott-bills-during-2022-legislative-session#block-system-main-menu bill that comes across his desk. The ones that get vetoed like paid sick leave are done so because they wouldnāt exempt small businesses. Oddly enough they didnāt rewrite the bill to exclude small businesses. Hmmmm.

Now is the part of the story where you all find out how despite a majority, nothing will change in a measurable way. Like when they tried the paid sick time law but wouldnāt exempt small businesses so it would get vetoed intentionally and they would come back with no other legislation that would at least help SOME of the people

A friend had a Vietnamese pot belly pig as a pet when I was younger. It was so smart. And fat

Thatās fine. I understand that. They didnāt cut down the trees to build their house. They cut down the trees after they had built the house. It made no sense to do so and messed up the aesthetic of the road.

Hereās where I get mad. I live on a beautiful dirt road in the middle of nowhere and enjoyed having no neighbors. On a road two miles long, 4 houses get built in a year and a half. Then the 100 year old plus maple trees that lined the road were fucking cut down by one of the new people. It was like they couldnāt just leave well enough alone. They probably have āclimate heroā in their twitter bio

These guys are doing exactly what the media did with trump. They are giving him free advertising and rent free space within their heads. We need to stop focusing on what we hate and turn that focus to what we need as a society.
