If you like sports Holy Cross men's basketball opens the season tomorrow night at seven. I got a spare ticket I could leave for you at the ticket window.

Best time in Worcester is Wrestling Open Thursday night at 8 at the White Eagle on Green Street. Ten bucks for the most fun two hours of the week.

Just moved to the city a year ago. Are they constantly going out of business or is it for real for real this time? Grew up near a store on the north shore that my father and I were certain was a mob front because it was going out of business from grade school until I was in college.

Id still give it a try. There's no contract and the speeds are only gonna get better. They also stress that the modems location in your house can affect the speeds so I might not even be getting the most out of it. We double paid for a month of spectrum too as we figured it out and now just cut the link. You should also get a rebate voucher for the first month so give it a spin.

At most it's been three (my laptop, wife & I's phones) along with streaming on the TV via a plug-in chromecast. No problems at all.

Service itself is super easy. The device is a combo modem/router. In terms of size imagine two soda cans stacked on each other, it's a little bit wider than that. It's so easy to set up and works immediately.

The only knock I have is that if you game heavily online it may not have the bandwidth needed for you.

There's always kids there and the crowd looks after its own and self-polices. That said, alcohol is served and sometimes someone has a few too many. I've been going to shows for that company for seven years and have seen three people total get tossed for being belligerent or unruly. It's a safe place and a good place.

The venue is up a large staircase with no elevator because it's a super old building so I hope that's not a problem.

WPI basketball. Teams are good, games are 90 minutes, no admission fee, and the gym is a lovely, old barn.

Holy Cross has both a bunch of sports options, the football team is currently undefeated and hoops/hockey are just starting up, and there's a brand new theater complex that's set to open on campus to. Could go to shows there.

And I'll always hype Wrestling Open at the White Eagle on Thursdays at 8. $10 for the best two hour show in town and one of the best crowds I've ever been a part of.
