Yes. Let's take our cities culture and landmarks and auction them off to the highest bidding asshole. They sold the Chrysler Building and I think are attempting to renovate iit nto a partial hotel or something.

These office landlords just need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. They just need to get out there and learn the new way of working. Heck, maybe even sell a few buildings at a loss for "practice".

Reply to Grand Central Madison goes deep... by mrturdferguson
For my schedule the train to GCT takes about 10-20 minutes longer than going to Penn, depending on the train. Between the walk and the extra waiting time, it's faster to take the 1,2,3 to TSQ and take the Shuttle train over.

The only Kraken I know is Phil McKraken. Not sure what they're referring to here.

I told you! I told you! I said months ago that the food hall and frankly everything they built over there is too small. At lunch time around 12:30pm on a Tuesday it's busy in Moynihan. I can't even imagine what it's like at holiday prime time.

Reply to NYC subway booth clerks to become free-roaming station agents today by hiegel
I think there should be more MTA employees in the stations. One in the booth, one by the turnstiles, and one walking the platform. Even more at busier stations.
