Yeah there’s security at the front of all the bars. If you don’t have a valid ID you’ll probably get turned away. You’ll probably find a few that won’t look at the expiration date, but it’s not a plan for success. Did you get a new temporary paper ID at least while you wait for your new one?

Other places have much worse weather. The mountains out west are taller and less forgiving. If you lived in those small towns in the mountains, congrats - you’re not a flatlander. If you lived in a suburb of LA and visited the mountains 10x a year, you’re a flatlander.

Bragging about mountain conditions nearby while living in a climate that sees average winter temperature lows in the high 40’s to low 50’s is a flatlander move.

Yup, just part of the game. Typically having a contingency like that would make the house less appealing to buyers, but in today’s market who knows.

You also see contingencies when people who own a house and are looking to buy a new house, they will make the offer on the new house contingent on selling their old house.

Hence why: “IT’D BE COOL”

Right now it is not feasible, perhaps one day someone will find a way to manage the drag.

It’s an theory that is being tested and studied. Look at EOEL or the Ventomobile or the Lotus Nemesis.

Not perpetual motion. Just enough energy created to increase range. Ie you drive 50 miles, but produce enough from wind to charge the battery enough to go an extra 10.

Perhaps some day wind and/or photovoltaic cells could effectively increase battery range enough to offset the costs both financially and physically.

There are several modular home companies that deliver modular homes in VT and even a modular home manufacturing company - Huntington Homes in Montpelier which when my wife and I were considering building seemed to be a quality option.

I think modular homes are becoming a larger industry in the NE with new building methods reducing costs of new homes.

Likely going to VT land to put homes on or transported somewhere else across NE! We moved to Maine last year and have also been seeing a lot of them around us as well.
