Did you try directly with the state? I used their online system this year and it was just as easy as turbo tax. I answered questions and plugged in some numbers and it did all the work. I printed and checked it.

I would suggest doing that. It is called my connect. Then print all 3 side by side and see what is different.

Also where did you move? And did you work in CT after moved? And are you using part year forms

For extra context. The law specifies that only any vehicle for which the DMV issues two plates must display both of them. The DMV doesn't always issue 2 plates. Usually though. So how does a cop know if you wear issued two? No clue. They probably don't. There was legislation a few years ago to remove the requirements. I dont think it passed but maybe I am not up to date here

Personally. I think with the popularity of ride share. It would be beneficial to have both. Probably unpopular opinion

How long do you have. You can really get a good variety by a few towns along the coast and take trains. New Haven and get some famous pizza and see a small college town. Bars and restaurants.
Mystic Seaport for quirky fun history and the Aquarium is one of the bests. For extra time there some cool historic stuff along the way like in Lyme. Art musuem and such.

If in summer go on a fishing trip with the Blackhawk. Super fun and we have fantastic ocean fishing.

The casinos are unique so could be worth a visit. The Native American musuem at Foxwoods is fantastic. I like vibe of Mohegan.

We have beautiful nature too so plenty of hikes but I'd have to look for accessible ones.

You seem like my kind of traveler. It's how I do it too.

Enjoy and feel free to reach out.

For that price range you won't have many upgrades. So you probably will have forced air heat and window AC. Very drafty house in need of insulation. Our utilities can be high.

You'll probably never keep all the critters out.

If you have any plans to renovate you'll have to bring it up to code. I had a place that still had the old tube wiring.

They are required if they are issued. The DMV has stopped always issuing two plates. I cannot seem to to understand the rhyme or reason. However the rules state uf you are issued two you must display both. Personally I have been issued 2 plates all but 1 time. It seems silly because how is a cop supposed to know what was issued? Maybe they do I suppose.

Yes I love mine. Only had a few weeks. I definitely will get the fed credit. CT has tax credits too but I don't qualify. I just read through CT and Eversource there are two rebates. One is for charger (500 for install if wire upgrade is needed and 500 for chager) but I bought the Rivian charger and don't think it's on the list of eligible ones at least yet. There is also a rebate to sign up for.. up to 300 I'd you don't charge tour EV during peak events. You need a charger that can communicate with the network or whatever. I haven't read the deets yet as I am just getting started

I think its because your question is all over the place and bc it's scenario driven.

If there is a lease for a tenant and the property is sold.... The new owner must honor the lease unless a) the new owner plans to move in or b) the lease has a clause saying it wouldn't be transferred. (This is general there are always specific scenarios. I haven't read laws in CT revently tho to see if B is still an option).

In this case there is no lease. The current owner would honestly be stupid to offer a lease is they want to sell.

Your girlfriend should look for a new place to live.

I would look into a month long car rental with someone like enterprise ASAP if you need a vehicle. Not 100 % sure but I think you're going to have some hurdles here. You may have to take a driver's course ... you'll need documentation to prove residency which you may need a month to collect etc.

Not sure but you could ask Dealer if a lease option could be faster but I doubt it.

Either way call the DMV to make sure you're clear on rules to get your license and sign up for that course asap if you need it because it could take time to find one.

What about from New Haven? Check out Avelo. They fly to a few places in FL. Also there is now Breeze airlines out of BDL but I haven't used them yet. But they have cheap flights to places down south. There are sometimes deals to Puerto Rico

Edit. For Avelo check out Tampa and maybe head to Clearwater or Indian Shores
