You can log into your Eversource account and view 36 months of past bills. Each bill will include "current read" and "previous read" values for your meter from which your usage is calculated. I'd start there and see if there is a discrepancy.

I'd even be OK with the idea that a prescription requirement has a sunset per patient (OK, maybe too much overhead to work). If I've been taking a medication for a decade, I think it's pretty clear that my body tolerates it and that it's having the desired effect. Why do I have to keep getting a prescription for it? Especially those drugs that have no recreational use. Huff all the Albuterol you want, you're not going to get high.

I too have had bad experiences with an electrician that my contractor brought onto the job. It's frustrating because residential electrical is pathetically easy yet they manage to do a terrible job. Nothing like paying for work that is substandard and well below the quality that you, the homeowner, could do over the weekend and with a Time-Life book from the library.
