Welcome to the US where public transport outside major cities is either terrible or non-existent, unfortunately.

There are some car services in the area that sometimes share their rates on local Facebook groups. I think it’s usually about $150 from Logan to the seacoast area but may be worth it after a long flight with a lot of luggage. CJ Trailways bus as the others mentioned is probably your best option and they are really great.

Dover children’s museum. There’s a fun candy/ice cream store across the street.

Annnnd it’s already snowing here, lol.

Sooo should I not bother picking the kids up early from daycare? Seacoast region.

Portsmouth 100% for the scenery, bars, restaurants and shops. Combine with a drive up RT 1A along the coast. White mountains (North Conway) with a day of spring-ish skiing and after ski apres!

Fresh pond, Cambridge. It’s about a 3 mile loop I think? Some parts are dirt/gravel but packed down and most is wide and paved. Also a nice bathroom if you need it. I also strolled around the Natick mall, it’s huge! The main grocery store there attached to the mall also has an awesome prepared food eating area that I enjoyed with my newborn. A bit more low key than the food court.

Portsmouth or Dover for your demographic. Not too far from Boston if you really want top-notch healthcare specialists.
