Yeah I don’t think they ever sold for $350. AKG’s website is the only one showing it as a discount from $350. Walmart and other stores show the discount from $80.

They’re “$350” but have almost always been sold for $80. They’re the AKG Y600NC. You can find them for $60 pretty much everywhere right now. Probably very good for that price, or even $80.

AFAIK they’re being discontinued and they’re just trying to get rid of them.

In public it’s simply the best way to go. I know not everyone will agree, but once you realize how it’s like to not have that cable, you’ll realize how often it gets in the way.

No, but they were on my short list of headphones to purchase when I wanted to upgrade. I ended up bumping my budget quite a bit for a used pair of HD8XX, but at the ~$200 mark I was planning on getting the DT900 Pro X.

One thing I really love about the HD800 series is that the earcups are MASSIVE and no chance for your ears to touch anything, but looking at the headphones when they’re on your head, they barely stick out at all. They hide their size on the head very well.

Same here. Although I’ve never tried the HD800s, from everything I’ve read and seen people say they should nearly the same with the sticker mod. I’ve been very happy with them
