I've owned a Dodge Caravan and currently own a PHEV Pacifica. Both have more interior cargo space than a Chevy Tahoe.

The least-efficient minivan is the non-hybrid Chrysler Pacifica, which gets 19 MPG in the city. The Sienna (which only comes in hybrid trim) gets 36 city/highway You're running about 16% below the bottom end of the minivan MPG range, and well over 50% below the top end.

This looks like a list of the top sellers in Asia or China, minus Toyota. No one buys Dongfeng or Mahindra anywhere outside of China, India, and other parts of Asia. GM alone beats Suzuki on this list by about $10B in annual revenue.

Reply to comment by Lobster_osity in Started saving for retirement this year-- my "historical returns" YTD say -8.97%, why am I putting this money here instead of a high yield savings account? by Lobster_osity
This type of YTD loss is nowhere near as bad as it can get, and yes, single calendar-year losses of 10-20% are normal over the long haul.
I lost half my retirement accounts' value in 2008 and 2009, but I kept contributing. From 2010 onward, the bull market rewarded me handsomely for staying in. I'm still far, far ahead of a HYSA over the same time period.

I applied once to a Sr. Staff engineer role there. They offered $225k total comp ($190k base and the rest was bonus). The startup I'm at pays Sr. Staff engineers >$500k total comp, half in salary, a 20% bonus, and the rest in stonks.

I work remote from CO for a SV startup, and he's in CO too. Still HCOL, just not VHCOL.

My BIL is a director of deep space exploration at Lockheed Martin. He used to be a Chief Engineer for the same division. He has stuff rolling around on fucking Mars with his name on it.
I'm a systems and cloud engineer at a startup. After bonuses, I make ~$50k more than him. It's insane how low-paid of a field aerospace is.
