A couple months ago, a driver played stupid games and went at squeegee workers with a baseball bat. One of the workers was carrying and fatally shot him. He was 14 at the time and was rung up on murder charges for it.
I used to commute by MARC, for the better part of a year. I only had a problem once. It was the day after their maintenance contract with Amtrak lapsed and they were using their diesel locomotives. The thing shut down twice and I was three hours late for work. It sucked.
But then he came around and heard people out and understood that, even if he isn't a hateful person, his tweets were hurtful. Aren't people allowed to learn and grow? We shouldn't discourage it.
It was followed by tweets that doubled down and claimed he was being misinterpreted but he came around to understanding how his tweets were being read.
Take Amtrak/MARC from Penn Station to DC, then DC Metro to DCA.
MARC also goes from Camden Yards to DC but only during morning and evening rush. And MARC trains, especially newer ones, don’t really have a lot of space for your stuff.
When I flew out of DCA in May, I caught a Lyft from Union Station because I am a neurotic mess.
They’re an SGA affiliated group, which means that like the last time Towson had this kind of issue, there’s a faculty adviser who can pull their support and leave them in the wilderness. Heimbach’s group kept going for a bit as an unofficial thing but petered out eventually. And what they were doing was much worse.
