Crew-da-tay. I thought it was crew-dites but I figured that couldn’t be right.

I live about an hour north and I wouldn’t say we are Pennsyltucky here but pretty damn close. Right on the edge.

I don’t the smaller communities would be as bad as some people are making them out to be however I’m not gay so I really don’t know firsthand. I would bet though that on average smalltown PA would be WAY better than random smalltown Arkansas. Like in that regard I don’t even think they would be close.

They really need to fix this. I just read an article that there are over 3 million Americans living and working overseas and still paying taxes to America and less than 10% actually get their ballots in because the process is so difficult.

Dude don’t listen to the propaganda there is absolutely nothing wrong with voting by mail. There are several states, Oregon and Hawaii for example, that are ONLY vote by mail and have been for decades and there have never been any issues. The only “problem” came recently with Trump because republicans know mail voting slightly favors democrats.

This is the best advice. At this point just go to your polling place on Election Day and you need to take your mail ballot with you.

I would check into Penn State. PA as a whole is very safe and the people are very friendly but like any country the bigger cities can be quite rough. Philly in particular is probably a lot worse than what you are used to in Europe especially with the scale of the poverty there. Penn State is in a small college town in the middle of the state and is wonderful, however I’m biased since I went there.
As far as the immigration stuff I’m really not sure if you can work on a student visa. I would suggest checking the department for international students at whatever university you are looking at.
