Perhaps if fewer Mexican politicians accepted bribes it wouldn't be in the condition it's in. The corruption goes all the way up to the presidential level, as evidenced by the coddling of El Chapo's mother and the release of Salvador Cienfuegos.

Considering several close disabled relatives of mine would be directly impacted by a sidewalk that was blocked, yes, I am. I'd hope you would be too, but clearly that has escaped you...

That's ridiculous. If you're angry at your employer you get to be self-centered and block the sidewalk, inconveniencing everyone passing by forcing pedestrians to dangerously walk into a narrow street? Not to mention how that would impact a person with a disability...

I agree as much as anyone that inflation is a pain. But most of these sound like things you could avoid. I shop at Target (they price match Amazon and Walmart!) for basics and Whole Foods for groceries that Target doesn't have because I find they have the lowest prices of bona fide grocery stores in the city for people that actually cook (aka not Trader Joe's). Costco when I have enough time to go to Sunset Park. I try to avoid local stores as much as possible because I don't find any value add in a Gristedes, for example, though there are a few that I patronize, such as the Mr. ___ stores in Brooklyn for cheap, high quality produce, or a great little Mexican market called Panaderia Atlixco deli grocery in Jackson Heights with reasonable prices.
On top of that, some of the 15 min delivery apps still have VC-funded deals. Getir seems to have a $20 off $25 offer every time I open the app. Why not try looking for new places to go to? The city certainly has gotten more expensive but that doesn't mean there aren't other options abound.

Good. Maybe now they'll stop being annoying children blocking the sidewalk on Dey St for their strike forcing peds to walk in the street.

Other people are mocking you in this thread, but this would be quite suspicious for me too as someone who grew up in a pretty unsafe town. Doubly so since you mention you've been burglarized before.

When's the last time you saw NYPD doing any sort of traffic enforcement that isn't easy parking tickets? I honestly can't remember. While I'd love those changes too, let's start with the simple stuff first.

Thatsthem.com works better than whitepages as it lists cell phone numbers for some people. I think it uses data breaches to compile them.

Virgin lounge > Centurion if they actually let you in with the card. They restrict access at busy times.

Yep. Didn't realize that I still had streeteasy emails turned on for my saved search from peak COVID times as I hadn't received emails for several months. Started getting them about a month ago again.

DM them on Twitter. Their customer service sucks but their Twitter team is the best that I've been able to find.

Completely depends what state you're in. In Wyoming 5 over is risky but in CA you can do 20 over with little risk of getting pulled over. Same deal on East Coast. In CT, 10 over is the max you can do whereas in NH you can do 15 over just fine.

OP's comment history is... interesting. Asking if they can get a green card if they get raped. One post saying they're 17 and another saying they're 47. Some posts saying they're female and others saying they're male. Seems like a troll.

Yep. It's insane. If the government is literally required to discriminate 30% of the time (NYS standard) for MWBE owned businesses, then I have no hope for our legislators, since they clearly lack any sort of self-awareness. Shocking news: women aren't typically particularly interested in running tunneling companies, for example (yes, I'm aware this is a very simplified example). The ones that are can now charge whatever they want since they have little to no competition, yet the state is obliged to contract them.
