Great shot. I was just there and was shocked by how many people drive up, take a pic here, and move on. The path around Skull Rock is SO MUCH MORE than just this rock. Countless other formations rival this, but they require effort (a 1.7-mile loop hike), and there isn't a sign pointing directly at them. I have no idea why this particular rock became so popular, but I can only guess it is because of social media. If you want to see "faces, animals, etc." in the rock formations, stay at Jumbo Rocks campground and take the trail from there or wander around in one of the best national parks there is (well, top 10 at least).
