It is owned and maintained by CSX, but trolleys ran on it up until 1995.

Ugh, it's like how the Fishtown neighborhood page was so excited that a Starbucks was moving in. There are a bunch of great, local places all over, but when that Starbucks opened, the drive-thru line was constantly out of the parking lot and onto Aramingo.

It's absolutely crazy that the Commonwealth would ever go against their largest economy's interest, when they could instead provide them with services to enable the economy /s

If a redirection on the el is the collapse of society to you, maybe you only have first world problems. I was just trying to give people a heads up.

One Saturday sometime in May or June, I was walking with my girlfriend on East Passyunk, and heard a shoot out very close by. It was like 1 pm, and there were a ton of people on the street that heard it as well. I never saw anything about it on the citizen app or the news, and when I asked on here, it was taking down fairly quickly. A couple people PM'd me to say they heard it as well before it was taken down. I'm assuming this list is missing a bunch of stuff like that.

No, but it's the best in the city. QT is good, but it's worth the short bus ride on the 47.

Reply to comment by Brahette in Does anyone understand what happens if you apply for the homestead exemption and how that works with the tax bill? Specifically… by Mikeh1982
The approval seems to me like it's retroactive. I applied last May, got approved around October, and in February, my mortgage company sent me $800 from over payment of taxes due to my homestead exemption.

This is the answer. Tom's is good, too, but dim sum garden is the best.

A person who quit smoking by vaping here, among many friends who quit the same way. I get that you shouldn't vap in a restaurant or on the trolley, but it's night and day for the ill effects of smoking indoors.
I agree you shouldn't vape on the trolley, but it is an effective way of quitting smoking, and it's not remotely the same.
